Apple Cider Applesauce


  • 2 pounds apples, peeled, cored, and cut into a mixture of chunks and slices
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • stevia to taste


  • In a medium saucepan, combine apple chunks, apple cider, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes. 
  • Stir in lemon juice. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
