Baked Sausage or Bacon

Eating a good source of protein in the morning will give you energy for your day.



  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Spread 1 lb links or bacon slices out on a stainless steel tray. Place in oven. Use a fork or tongs to flip meat when it starts browning (10 min). Bacon will cook faster than sausage and you should keep an eye on it to take it out. You may pour the grease off the pan into an old jar while it is cooking if you wish, or do this at the end before cleaning the pan. 
  • Bacon should be crispy when done. Sausage should be cooked through (no pink left). Place meat on a paper towel on a plate and use a second paper towel on top to soak up some of the grease. Enjoy!
  • Be sure to purchase nitrate-free meats and those with sugar less than 1 g. If there is something you don’t recognize on the label, then you probably shouldn’t be eating it.
