Carob Icing with Sour Fruit


  • 1/2 cup milk (soy, rice, almond, or organic dairy)
  • 1/2 cup carob powder (or cocoa powder)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup maple syrup


  • Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.  Keeps well in refrigerator. 
  • Serve with blended frozen banana for a deliciously satisfying snack or dessert, or dip with sour fruits such as strawberries or tart apples.
