- 3 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbls. ghee, melted
- 3 Tbls. garbonzo bean flour
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 4- 14oz can of beef broth
- Add the onions and ghee to crockpot. Cover on HIGH for 30-40 minutes until onions begin to brown around edges. Stir thoroughly.
- Sprinkle flour, sea salt, and pepper over onions and cook 15 minutes longer on HIGH.
- Add thyme, bay leaf and broth, stir, cover and cook on LOW for 7-9 hours.
