Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked fava beans
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbls. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp celtic sea salt or to taste
Steps:
- Presoak beans overnight. Cook beans until very tender so they may be easily mashed, 2-3 hours. For added flavor combine with a few tablespoons of lentils.
- Warm cooked beans in a small amount of water. Spoon into individual serving bowls.
- Beat together oil, lemon juice and salt; pour over beans, mashing lightly with a fork so they absorb the dressing.
