Take in small amounts before a meal or after spending hours in the sun.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup ginger, peeled and finely chopped or grated
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup dehydrated cane sugar
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 cup whey
Steps:
- Place ingredients in a 2 quart glass jar. Stir well and cover tightly. Leave at room temperature for 2-3 days before transferring to the refrigerator. This will keep for several months well chilled. To serve, strain into glass or pitcher.
- To prepare the whey, line a strainer with a clean cotton dishtowel, pour in yogurt or seperated milk, cover and let drain for several hours. The liquid part is the whey and the solid part is cream cheese.
