Worth the wait!
- 2 lbs sweet onions
- 1st coat:
- 4 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 Tbs. of fermented beverage, like rejuvelac
- sea salt to taste
- 2nd coat:
- 1 cup ground, golden flax seeds
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1-2 tsp. paprika
- Slice sweet onions into rings and seperate.
- Dip each ring into a 2nd coat, then 1st, and again in 2nd coat for a thicker cover.
- Place on dehydrator trays, not Teflex. 105 degrees for 10-14 hours until crispy.
