Ingredients:
- 1 cup millet
- 3 cups filtered water
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbls. garlic powder
- 1 Tbls. Italian seasonings
- Sea salt to taste
- Freshly minced or dried herbs such as basil, parsley, and/or tarragon
Steps:
- Rinse millet thoroughly in a fine sieve. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, then add millet and bring to a boil again. Cover, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients with grain while stirring on the stove. Just before serving, stir in fresh minced herbs.
