- 1 oz seaweed (dulse or wakame)
- 1/4 cup black sesame seed
- Soak seeds for 6-8 hours and drain.
- Grind seaweed into a fine powder.
- Dry toast sesame seeds until they have a nutty aroma and begin to pop.
- Add seeds to wakame and grind with mortar and pestle until seeds are 90% crushed.
