Seaweed-Black Sesame Gomasio


  • 1 oz seaweed (dulse or wakame)
  • 1/4 cup black sesame seed


  • Soak seeds for 6-8 hours and drain. 
  • Grind seaweed into a fine powder. 
  • Dry toast sesame seeds until they have a nutty aroma and begin to pop. 
  • Add seeds to wakame and grind with mortar and pestle until seeds are 90% crushed.
